The truck used in the oil change procedure is a 2003 Ford F-150 V6 but should apply for any F-150 from the years 1997 -2003 (Tenth generation body style). The oil change process demonstrated should apply to the Ford trucks with the larger v-8 motors as well.
F-150 trucks require routine oil changes just like any other automobile. The process is not difficult if you have the means and ability to preform the maintenance yourself. However there is always some risk associated with working on vehicles. If in doubt take your vehicle to a proper faculty to preform the oil change for you.
