A/C Bypass Pulley Installation, Demonstrates How to Install an A/C Bypass Pulley

Tools Needed: Ratchet, EPA approved A/C Refrigerant, recovery equiptment

Steps:
1. Remove the connectors from the compressor
2. Remove the serpentine belt
3. Remove the bolts and disconnect all AC lines from the compressor
4. Insert bushings into mounting holes (if applicable). It is important to center the bracket propertly
5. Insert bolts through the mounting holes with bushings to center bracket and securely tighten
6. Install sepentine belt and check for proper fit
7. Remove the sepentine belt, as well as the bolt holding the pulley to the bracket and remove the pulley.
8. Place washer behind pulley on bracket. This washer will provide the space needed for belt to ride properly on the pulley
9. Re-install pulley
10. Re-install serpentine belt and check for proper fit.
