loose steering wheel fix, Ford F150, how to DIY, Nephew Mikey bought a 1994 Ford F150 and the steering wheel was VERY loose and wobbly. This video shows how to remove the steering wheel, clock spring, turn signal cancelling cam, snap ring and spring to get to the bearing that is bad. Unfortunately, I could not replace the bearing, but opted instead to use a bronze bushing.
You will need...
15mm socket w/ ratchet and extension
steering wheel puller (they loan these at parts stores)
snap ring pliers
deep well socket of about 7/8
hammer
flanged bushing .750 id, 1 od.
