The new Ford Atlas combines an innovative list of new design techniques and technology that will soon be incorporated into next generation of Ford F-Series trucks. Besides being an absolutely stunning truck the Ford Atlas offers plenty of features that full size truck owners will enjoy.

Taking the tailgate step to a new level the Atlas has a dual purpose step and cargo cradle. The new cradle position allows you to carry a ladder securely and safely. Owners that carry a four wheeler or other wheeled vehicle or tool will really enjoy the hidden cargo ramps. The ramps are hidden below the cargo box and easily fit into place to help load your toy. Dynamic hitch assist gives you a visual display on the dash helping you hitch up your trailer as well. Taking the hitch assist a step further the Atlas Concept includes trailer backup assist allowing you to back up a trailer with the twist of a knob.

To help improve fuel economy the new Ford Atlas Concept utilizes active grille shutters, a drop down air dam and active wheel shutters. At highway speeds the grille and wheel shutters close improving the aerodynamics of the truck helping to increase fuel efficiency. The front air dam lowers at high speeds to improve the underbody airflow of the truck.
