alternator repair #1, 96 ford f150 3G alternator, 1996 ford f150 4x4 4.0l, battery light came on while driving home last night. vid shows battery testring, and alternator removal of the famous ford 3G 95 amp alternator,procedure is same for the 130 amp. this is a very common alt used in many ford vehicles. this will definately save you a few $$ anew alt runs btwn $150 and $200 for the part. a complete rebuild kit will cost $20 off ebay. I oredered one and ended up buying an additional brush kit for $8, only so i could be on road today instead of wed when my kit gets here. i wiil post an additional complete rebuild at that time but this will get me on the road asap for cheap! good luck thanks for watching. subscribe! comment! check out my other vids..
