Ford F150 Explorer 2000 2001 2002 Overhead Console Repair, Has your overhead console (temperature and compass) disappeared? Mine dimmed out and I was determined to fix it on my own.
Instead of paying $130 at the local Ford dealership, I did it for free!
This repair will work on similar model years and models (Explorer).
You will need a slot and Phillips screwdriver, a T-10 screwdriver, and a soldering iron with some solder.
Est. time: 45 minutes.
